Since 2018, SAM has assisted local clients in Maine by providing a much needed garment repair and alterations service. SAM also is a retail platform for Maine artists to sell their quality handmade goods to a broad community.
About Us
Hi! I’m Shannon Moretto and I am the co-owner and seamstress of Sewing and More! I live in Maine with my wonderful supportive husband, Hrafn. My inspiration comes from my husband and our four legged babies!
I enjoy staying busy and have multiple projects going on at a time. From crocheting, clay work, embroiderery, or sewing, I’m never sitting still!
My biggest passion is sewing. My husband bought my first sewing machine about 15 years ago and I fell in love with it. I started with quilts and small items like change purses and bowl cozies before starting to make clothing and fanart pillows.
Every item on this site is handmade by me or a friend and made to order so it will always be one of a kind! Check back regularly for new items!!
